Hailee Cooper leads AJGA Kansas Junior at Buffalo Dunes
Hailee Cooper of Montgormery High School tops the girls field at the AJGA Kansas Junior at Buffalo Dunes in Garden City. She shot 69, one stroke ahead of Hailey Jones, amid windy mid 90s conditions on the dunes layout. The all-Texan leaders and other top finishers pace a tough round as competitors tackle waist-high native grasses and tricky rough. Gardena City’s Taylor Larsen posted even par 72 amid strong field.
