Garden City mayor aims to draw youth sports tourism
Mayor John Doll calls for a cooperative effort to attract regional youth tournaments to Garden City and Finney County. Zoo camp offers summer fun and learning for kids
Six year old Kaden Funk of Garden City excitedly recounted his first day at Lee Richardson Zoo Adventures camp. The program targets children entering first and second grade with activities including animal interactions. Due to high demand a second camp session runs June 27 through July, already more than half full.
