Garden City man given 11 life terms for child sex crimes

Jimmy DeWayne Meyers, 45, of Garden City, was sentenced in Finney County District Court to 11 life terms after a May 9 conviction on seven counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, three counts of rape, and one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. The crimes involved four children ages 5 to 9 during summer 2015. Meyers maintains innocence as he faces potential appeals.

Holcomb Board OKs $135,135 boiler bid and travel plan
