Beef Boots Ballads Draw Crowds On Grant Avenue
Garden City hosts the first Beef Boots and Ballads event with a lunch on Grant Avenue. Volunteers rushed food as supplies dwindled to feed over 300 attendees before noon. Attendees include Amanda Crumb and her family from California, enjoying music from Acoustic Friends and Partners of the Prairie, with SoBe samples and street activities drawing families. Local residents comment that food and music attract crowds, aided by vendors and volunteers.
