4 H club members paint windows to promote Finney County Fair
In downtown Garden City colorfully chalked scenes appear on storefronts as Beacon Boosters 4 H members ages 7 to 17 decorate Main Street with clovers pigs and smiley faces endorsing the Finney County Fair July 27 to 31. Tammy Hutcheson says the project raises 4 H visibility and funds for the clubs. Each group is assigned a window area with Wide Awake painting the west side today and proceeds go to the clubs via a $10 per window donation from the fair board.
