Stein campaigns in Topeka seeks third party path
Green Party leader Jill Stein held a low profile campaign stop at the Downtown Ramada in Topeka urging voters to rise above the lesser evil. She touted an emergency Green New Deal with 20 million jobs, renewable energy by 2030, and free higher education, arguing conservatives could back a local, democracy driven platform. The event aimed to gather petition signatures for ballot access as she trails in Kansas polls and faces anti third party resistance along with Clinton supporters.
