Kansas lawmaker to revive health care freedom amendment
Kansas House member Brenda Landwehr will push a new version of the Health Care Freedom Amendment to block parts of the federal health care law from taking effect in Kansas. She aims to mirror last year’s proposals, seeking to bar the state from requiring individuals or businesses to buy insurance, aligning with tea party influenced Republicans including freshman Rep.
