Garden City boxers Ortiz Rios shape future after Mayweather loss
Local fighters Victor Ortiz and Brandon Rios reflect on the Mayweather bout, outlining lessons learned and plans to move forward. Ortiz eyes a Feb 11 rematch with Andre Berto and a KU education, while Rios shifts to 140 pounds, pursuing challenges and a long boxing career. Other Garden City prospects Antonio Orozco and Herbert Acevedo also press upward, with Orozco possibly undercarding Ortiz.
