He married Bernice Klemann in 1948 and later Judy Frazer Eaves in 1988. Survived by his wife five children and numerous grandchildren. Vigil service Wednesday at St Joseph Catholic Church Tribune Funeral Mass Thursday at St Joseph. Burial in Greeley County Cemetery. Memorials to Greeley County LTC or St Joseph Church.
Richard Dean Dudley 81 of Ulysses Kansas died Sunday December 6 2015 at Park View Assisted Living. He was born May 5 1934 in Denver Colorado and married Norma Jean Seeley June 8 1966 in Las Vegas Nevada. He served in the US Navy and owned The Movies and Ulysses Drive In. Survivors include daughters Terry Lynn Ryles Larie Walta Linda Velasquez a brother and six grandchildren plus three great grandchildren. Funeral 10 am Saturday at Countryside Baptist Church with burial at Ulysses Cemetery and military rites. Memorials suggested to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
Jose Luis Rivas 56 died Friday December 4 2015 in Ulysses. He was born January 7 1959 in Cd Juarez Mexico to Faustino and Esperanza Garcia Rivas. He was a farm laborer. Survived by wife Christina Vazquez four sons Jose Charlie Miguel Dmitry a daughter Clarybeth his mother three brothers Faustino Arturo Fernando and sister Cecilia. Funeral services 11 am Wednesday at Grant County Funeral Home Ulysses with burial in Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation 10 am to 8 pm today at the funeral home. Daren Richard Coen of Elkhart pleaded guilty to two counts of distributing child pornography and one count of possessing it. Detectives linked him to online file sharing, with police downing his Wichita area file sharing network activity and seizing material from his home in May 2015. Sentencing set for February 29 carries penalties up to 20 years for distribution and up to 10 years for possession, plus fines up to 250000 per count.
