Two Committed To Reformatory In Kansas Case
Claude Gene Hill 17 of Popular Blumm Missouri was committed to the Kansas reformatory at Hutchinson after Judge Roland H. Tate revoked his parole on a charge of disposing of mortgaged property. Hill had been arrested in Hollis Ohio last week for obtaining money under false pretenses. Also committed was Thomas D. Wilkison of Dighton for parole violation after a prior burglary charge. He faces up to 15 years in the Hutchinson reformatory. Wilkison was paroled in district court and recently arrested in Hutchinson for passing a bad check.

Four Are Unhurt In a Collision Near Holcomb
A Webb City couple their baby and a Garden City man escaped injury in a US 50 crash one mile north of Holcomb. Charles Gordon 17 driving east sideswiped Gene Plankenhorn 50 of Garden City as he tried to cross to a county road. The 8:30 a.m. collision on a curve caused heavy damage to both vehicles with all four occupants unharmed and no charges filed.

The Schaul One near Garden City on the Haskell Finney line completed as a gasser by Stanolind with a 5,981,000 cu ft daily rate after a 20 minute open flow test. The Well Treated Schauf reached 2,714 feet and was reduced to 2,692. Other Wells in Finney include Sloan One at 1,425,000 cu ft and 35 gallons kerosene per hour and Winfield treated at 2,590-2608 feet. In Kearny county Sauer A and other wells were shut in after a 20 minute open flow, with Herington-Kinder producing 1,930,000 cu ft and 15 gallons kerosene per hour. Three more sites are ready for contractor work: Alien C, Kurz B, and Miles C.

Change in Sugar Law Is Predicted
Rep William S Hill of Colorado told the National Sugar Beet Growers Federation that the Hoover H dministration favors giving domestic sugar growers more of the annual market increase.
