Adult Learning Center expands to technical degrees and certificates

Garden City Community College's Adult Learning Center now offers technical degrees and certificates through the Accelerating Opportunity Kansas program. Director Hector Martinez says AO Kansas provides a streamlined pathway for adults learning English, out of school years, or without a GED to gain marketable credentials. The program blends basic education with hands on training, including GED preparation, to help workers secure better pay or advancement. KDOC notes the aim is to support working adults with flexible services while building workforce skills.

Kobach backs illegal voting claim on Clinton edge

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach backed President elect Trump’s assertion that millions voted illegally to help Clinton in the national popular vote. He cited CCES research while noting no solid evidence of widespread fraud, and avoided commenting further on Trump.
