Donna Scony Named Outstanding Young Woman of America

Donna Scony Seoby daughter of Mr and Mrs George Seoby, Fort Collins, Colorado, has been named to the Outstanding Young Women of America edition. A radiation biology researcher at Colorado State University, she is a 1953 graduate of McPherson College with a master’s from Washington University. While teaching at Monticello College she earned two science awards from the National Science Foundation and the Atomic Energy Commission.

Lane Ness ABA Sets Meeting in Dighton

County Officials Issue 1966 Vehicle Registration Details

Finney County residents will receive 1966 vehicle registration and personal property self assessment forms. To obtain 1966 license plates, applicants must complete all forms and show at least half of the 1965 personal property tax paid. Mail to County Treasurer, not the Kansas Motor Vehicle Department, with a 50 cent mailing fee. Registration must be in the applicant’s county of residence as of Jan 1, 1966.
