Lunch and Learn series kicks off fall season
Finney County Extension Service launches the 14th annual Lunch and Learn program on September 5 at the Finney County Public Library. Monthly noon sessions feature local experts presenting topics from consumer questions to health, finance, crafts, history, decorating, and personal security through May.

Kansas Attorney General Carla J. Stovall announces an agreement with GovConnect Inc to run the Kansas No-Call list. Beginning Aug 12 consumers can register toll free or online, with a Sept 23 deadline to appear on the Oct 1 list. Telemarketers may purchase the list for access, with various formats.
