Job fair links students with court interpreter roles in Garden City
Garden City area employers at a Thursday job fair featured the Finney County District Court seeking bilingual students for part time interpreter work at $25 per hour. Wichita State College athlete Kimberly Carbonell highlighted the event as a chance for students to connect with employers, while other firms such as The Golf Club at Southwind offered positions for servers and cooks. The Kansas Works Mobile Center provided resume and interview guidance, and another job fair is planned for next week at the Finney County Exhibition Building.
