Eco Meets aim to boost regional wildlife knowledge at Garden City zoo
Garden City hosts the Kansas 2003 Eco-Meet for grades eight through twelve on Oct 22 at the zoo. Ten regional meets feed into a state contest on Nov 5 at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge. Teams of three to four students tackle wildlife tests, a Herps focus, a scavenger hunt, and an interpretive presentation judged for scores and scholarships.
