Garden City transload expansion aims to boost wind industry logistics

Orr describes rapid growth from 10 acres to over 240 within five years at a major transload hub. The project expands land to over 600 acres, adds an aggregate limestone dump and a rail spur, and envisions handling 6,000 components with 2,000 to 3,000 additional car loads annually. The plan strengthens just in time delivery for wind, DFA dairy, and other sectors, backed by city and county support and a skilled workforce.
