PAC spending shifts Kansas legislative primary outcomes
PAC spending before the August GOP primary drew tens of thousands of dollars in races that toppled incumbents backing tax increases and aided anti tax conservatives. The Club for Growth and Americans for Prosperity funded ads and mailings, while Kansans for a Moderate Government backed a moderate candidate. Funding disclosures are due in October, with some spending unregulated.
