Garden City Community College opens 90th fall semester
Garden City Community College welcomed students to its 90th fall term with 1,710 enrolled on day one, 19,669 credit hours, and a full time equivalent of 1,311.3, up over 11 percent from 2008. Freshman Carlos Reyes and sophomore Lesley Freese shopped for books as classes began and both expect basic courses to anchor their schedules.

Garden City approves Crazy House plan with Shaw move
Garden City commissioners approved a development agreement with Crazy House owner Brian Shaw and waived about 105 000 in past costs tied to his store relocation. Goss named new Finney County Health Department administrator
