Garden City High to Host State CTE Council Meeting
Garden City High School will host a Kansas Advisory Council for Career and Technical Education meeting from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the GCHS Trades Academy computer lab. After lunch, KACCTE members will tour the school at 12:30 p.m. Members represent state businesses and industries and KSDE CTE consultants.

Garden City's Spring Cleanup Kicks Off Monday
Garden City's annual two week spring cleanup starts Monday for residential areas only. Items must be curbside by the day before pickup. alleys are excluded. Eight zones with specific dates and general collection days in week two and week one. Call 276-1270 for missed pickups and follow restrictions on trees appliances tires and hazardous waste. Finney County residents may haul items to the landfill for $1 per ton on April 8 and 15 with proof of residency.
