The Friday evening event at the home of W I and his wife drew about sixty five attendees. The program included vocal solos by Mazie Bell and Ota Windrow, song by Virgil and Paulite Barnhart, reading by Miss Audra Thomas, address by Rev. Boase, a ladies quartet, and whistling solo by Mabel Zehring. Brick cream cake and lemonade were served. A collection of 5.98 was taken.

Red Men Decoration Services Held at Universalist Church
Large crowd attended the Red Men's decoration services at the Universalist church on Sunday afternoon. Attorney B B Richards opened the program. Music by the U B quartet and soloist Ota Winterrowd, with Al Winterrowy Gott of Kokomo. Afterward, Red Men and Pocahontas lodges led by the band decorated graves at the cemetery, with many visitors from nearby lodges attending.

Despondent 68-Year-Old Man Fatally Hangs Near Lincoln
Aged 68 from near Lincoln hanged himself in a wood lot Saturday morning using a noose, the body found by his son Ira that evening. Despondency after his wife’s death is cited. Survived by sons Milo and Ira. Funeral at M. E. church Lincoln. Burial in Galveston cemetery.

Mrs Umbarger Dead After Long Illness
Mrs B F Umbarger aged 38 died at 1120 North Kennedy street at 10 o clock Wednesday night after a long illness cancer. She came from Galveston where she was reared and held in esteem. She was a First Baptist Church member and active in good works. Survived by husband and adopted son. Funeral Friday at 3 pm at the Baptist church. Burial at Point cemetery. Kokomo.

Golden Wedding Anniversary in Bourbon May 1910
Chas B McKinney and his wife celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at their Bourbon home on May 24 1910. The couple who have nine children and no family deaths in fifty years were honored with white and gold iris decorations a grand arch and a sumptuous noon dinner followed by a literary program including an address of welcome by Wm McKinney.
