George Tenney a former Freeport shoe factory worker was arrested in St Louis and returned to Freeport to face a charge of abandoning his wife when she was critically ill. A hearing is set for Saturday in Justice Marvin's court.

Special dispatch reports Tokio updates: Mukden occupied at 10 am with Russians panicking and thousands of prisoners captured along with large stores and guns. Also Fushun taken by Japanese detachment nocturnally March 9 and attacking on the North Fushun heights. Grand Chief Stone of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers revoked the Interborough Engineers charter in New York.

Special Musical Service at First Presbyterian Church

Next Sunday evening a special musical programme will be presented with Miss Whalen presiding at the organ. Death of Arthur Thompson in Hazel Green

Arthur Thompson died at 8 this morning at his Hazel Green home after paralysis. A native of Yorkshire England, he came to the U S in 1849 and lived in Hazel Green until death. He was married twice, second wife Hannah Doxey. survived by nine children in Wisconsin South Dakota Washington and Minnesota, one brother Edward Thompson of this city.

Iceland yields the bulk of the world supply of elderdown with an annual sale around 7000 pounds. Most of it is shipped to Copenhagen where prices range from 2.4 to 2.5 dollars a pound.

Death of Isaac Ritter Pioneer Resident of Galena

Isaac Ritter born September 21 1819 in Union County Pennsylvania died at his home on North High Street Galena this morning at nine o clock after general debility. He married Rebecca Whitaker in 1850 and leaves a widow five children Mary Witter Mrs Richard Mannell and William Ritter of Galena Mrs Edward McClee of Los Angeles California and Charles Ritter of Yuma Arizona. Funeral arrangements not yet definite.
