Farmer Walter Reed Dies at 83 From Lockjaw

Terrible Slaughter of Cattle On Passenger Train
Passenger train No 205 of the Chicago and Northwestern struck a herd of about twenty dairy cows near West Chicago at 8 20 pm on Wednesday evening. Four cows were killed and several injured as the engine raised briefly off the rails then returned to run to Freeport.
