The Galena Iron Works have received the contract to erect a large mill and electric plant at the Skene mine in Elizabeth. The project will cost 19 400 dollars and the company has erected most mills in the vicinity and Southern Wisconsin, signaling high quality of their plants.
In Toledo the National Hay Association meets to push a standard for bale proportions. Platteville Wicklow plans a new mill.
