The Galena base ball club returned home Friday after sweeping Maquoketa 2 games to 1 in a slugfest final 12 to 4. Parish pitched for Galena and held the Iowa team scoreless late. Bar nett hit a home run as Galena rapped about fifteen hits. Bellevue locals hosted the series with gracious hospitality and Terry Weyhgant praised for umpiring.
