Mrs Wm Cox 82 sister of Joseph Brickler of this city died at her Stockton area home Wednesday from general debility due to old age. Born near Silkirt on Red River of the North about 82 years ago she came with the old French settlers to Galena in 1826. She married Wm Cox and lived on farms in Vinegar Hill and Stockton townships. Her husband died about eighteen years ago. Survived by two daughters Mrs Wm Rindesbacher Stockton and Mrs E Clay Iowa and one son Joseph Cox Stockton township. Funeral Friday at ten with interment Townsend Cemetery near Stockton.
