Brood Sows Hunt Beans For Winter Exercise

James Folsom of Scioto County lets brood sows forage for soybeans in winter to provide ration and keep them in good condition. Four sows last spring raised 35 pigs and five sows this fall farrowed 53 pigs. Dr. Water of Cleveland spoke at a Union Meeting in the High School Auditorium praising the American Red Cross and its needs at home and abroad.

Mrs Amos Gray Rites Held At Wauseon Home

Mrs. Amos Gray longtime Wauseon resident dies at home on West Leggett Street. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. E. Fish and burial in Wauseon cemetery. She was born Ida May Dean November 2 1864 in Chesterfield Township Fulton County and married Amos Gray November 22 1882. Surviving are her husband son Howard D. Geer daughter-in-law Eunice Gray and two grandchildren. sisters Kee Funk and Ella Barker.
