Wanderers Jailed For Child Mistreated Habits In Pike Township
A wandering couple and five children were found living in a deteriorating tent in Pike township. Deprived of food and shelter, the group was taken to Wauseon for medical care, especially a four year old girl with croup. James King pled guilty to mistreatment and received 20 days in jail plus a $10 fine. The court then addressed the mother and children as further actions were prepared (Continued on page Eight).
