Vera Velma Viers Ewart dies after two week illness

Vera Velma Viers Ewart, 22, granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Wm Weir, died May 25 in Minneapolis Kansas after septic endocarditis. Born May 22 1895 in Wauseon Ohio, she grew up in Stockton and Minneapolis, taught school at Sylvan Grove and Lindsey, helped make Lindsey a standard rural school, joined Congregational church, and had wide community esteem. Her life honored by photos, gifts to the library, and church tributes. services were held at the Presbyterian Church with burial in Highland cemetery.
