Superintendent Biery Elected Fulton County Schools Leader

C J Biery a Wauseon educator for fourteen years was unanimously elected superintendent of Fulton county schools at a county board of education meeting. He will take office August 1 with a 2200 salary plus up to 300 state aid. Other officers include C K Miller president and J F Outcalt vice president. Miss Eastman latin teacher resigns creating vacancy at the high school. Also noted is a church dissolution meeting July 25 and a Wabash Chicago excursion announced for July 26 27 with round trip 50.

Roll of Honor and Monument Fund Meeting Report

At Fulton County Soldiers and Sailors Monumental Association trustees meeting in the court house last Saturday a legal organization formed with J Rorick as president and EB Hallett as secretary. A resolution urged subscription holders to forward pledged amounts to Miss Kathryn B. Weir of Wauseon to speed monument construction. Also notes donations from Dr E H Rorick and Mrs Jacob Shinnberger.

Obituary for Eunice King of Wauseon Ohio

Eunice King born March 12 1834 in Wooster Ohio died July 18 1914 at age 80 in Wauseon Ohio daughter of Hugh and Mary King lived on a Fulton county farm before settling in Wauseon joined Evangelical Church at age thirteen and remained a member funeral held at Evangelical church Tuesday at 2 pm interment in Wauseon cemetery she leaves brother Joshua King and sister Celinda King both of Wauseon plus many friends. Two small fires reported Tuesday afternoon one in Miller Hoy shop damaging an automobile lamp and upholstery top catching fire near the car the other in dry grass along the railroad near the Handle Factory risk of spreading to nearby buildings but extinguished without damage.
