Scout Camp at Wolf Lake draws Wauseon exodus
About 50 Boy Scouts and their leaders departed last Monday from Wauseon for a two week camp at Wolf Lake. Families of Mr. and Mrs. Eager and others will stay in cottages while the boys live in tents by the lake. Scout-master Ives leads the camp with C. E. Wager and Geo. E. Gorsuch as executives. Next Sunday features a Boy Scout Day with the Wauseon Band performing and many visitors from nearby areas expected.

Great Lakes Naval Band to Tour Farm Truck Demonstration
The Great Lakes Naval Band led by Moravec travels by $10,000 tour convoy of pneumatic trucks and hauling equipment to Toledo area routes. It will stop in Wauseon July 26 with lectures by Yeoman Binckley and a 2160,000 motorized show. Fatal Boiler Explosion Hits Fulton County Plant
An explosion at the George Becker Fertilizer plant near Tedrow killed 19 year old Harry B. Kurz, brother of Mrs. Becker. Kurz died after being in the boiler room when gauge readings and a later blast caused the plant to collapse. His parents in Peru Indiana were notified and the body was sent to Erum Indiana for burial.
