Fulton County to appoint deputy sealer of weights and measures
The 191E law requires a deputy sealer for each county, appointed by the county auditor who is the sealer and keeper of standard weights. Fulton, among the last five counties, plans the appointment with Auditor Ackerman backing Al Boger. Estimated first year cost about $1.00, as the sealer tests scales and measures used in buying and selling to protect both buyers and sellers, with 95 percent of local merchants favoring enforcement.
