In rough weather about 200 Knights and Sisters with friends gathered to celebrate an anniversary of the Order of Knights and dedicate the Hall of Merit bearing the name Maaie. The event featured a religious service and a shared meal for all attendees.
Village council met Monday evening in a brief session lasting about 45 minutes. Minutes show routine business approved, including permits to cut cattle and efforts to improve an alley along Multan Street, with council members and officers heard and adjournment before night.
