Fires Destroy Much Property in Wauseon Night

Wauseon faced three destructive fires in a single night causing heavy property loss. Seven horses perished as firefighters performed splendidly. Fulton Republicans announce meetings of the Central and Executive Committees at the Court House on February 14 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss important matters. F.E. Perry and Wolf urge attendance to support a successful fall campaign. A Toledo notice says a special Lincoln Day Train will depart February 26 at 7:30 a.m. from Toledo, fare $1.50. Wauseon residents can take the 6:28 T. & I. car to reach Toledo in time for the train.

Fire at Imes residence sparks rescue and alarm in Wauseon

A Thursday night fire alarm drew the Fayette area Fire Department to the Imes residence on East Elm Street where Mrs. Imes, ill in bed, could not leave. Neighbors helped move her to safety as flames spread rapidly, and John Imes learned of the blaze after returning home. The incident occurred amid a rolling Roll of Honor update and continued fundraising for a Soldiers Monument, highlighting local civic effort and school contributions.
