Large turnout from Waueven and nearby counties witnessed the aviation demonstration at Nay View Park Toledo. Twelve planes, mostly training types and one or two seat fighters, drew crowds along Madison Street and Summit. Citizens praised the display as a symbol of American resolve and support for war efforts in Europe.
Fulton County Fair plans a great war feature with several hundred county youths set to participate. Some contestants will learn skills that could earn as much as 96 dollars in a single day.

McKinley Robinson, 19, died in a Paris hospital from wounds received in action while serving in the Ambulance corps in France. Enlisting May 16 1917 in Toledo, he went to France August 1917 with his unit. His mother Mrs John Reed and townspeople express deep sympathy and pride in his service. Howard Forney Howard Garrett and Orson Beebe also served in the ambulance corps in France as non combatants.

George H Yarnell and Minnie Miller wed on Thursday at 6 pm in the groom’s father Grant Yarnell’s home, closing the Houghtley reunion. Helen E Hartman and Millard Hartman stood with the couple. Rev J A Wha ton officiated. The bride heads to Pioneer Ohio. they will settle in Toledo.
