Council Debates Street Upgrades and Water Plan

Cedar Street parking, East Chestnut and East Finn Street improvements, and water supply updates occupy village council. Railroad Rates for Fair Train Service Between Wauseon and Grounds

Carl F. Orth announces special train service by Detroit Toledo and Iron Way Railroad for four days of the fair September 4th 5th and 6th with round trip tickets from Wauseon to the Fair Grounds at 20 cents. Fulton Grange August Program and Community Notices

Fulton Grange opened with a program including recitations by Euther Schamp and talks on farming home duties. A sad accident was reported in Metamora where eight year old Edward Thompson drowned at Wampler's Lake. Upcoming fairs listed for the region, plus a Wheat and Dairy Meeting in York Township. Joint Reunion of 86th and 182nd Ohio Regiments at Wauseon

Veterans of the 86th and 182nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry gathered in Wauseon for a joint regimental reunion. The event featured a GA R hall gathering, elected officers, a Methodist church dinner, camp fire talks, vocal music, readings, and a roll call listing attendees by regiment with numerous named towns and individuals. The National Encampment of the G A R will be held in Columbus west of Sept. 7.

Fulton County Fair Promises Broad Appeal and Free Child Admission

The Fulton County Agricultural Association unveils a sixty-second annual fair with a rich program for all tastes. Daily 25 cent admission includes free grounds access for children, plus amusements, the Wauseon Boy Scout Band, and thrilling flying exhibitions by Lt. Francis E. Blanchard. The lineup features carousels, Ferris wheel, acrobats, jugglers, magic, relics from distant lands, and a varied entertainment slate over September 2 to 4.
