Wauseon residents witnessed two display tanks arrive from the Western Battle front, with crews and a Cleveland stop. Mayor Bulger rode one tank during a public ride, as local firms and communities organized a victory drive and a church event to honor returning servicemen and fund relief efforts. Final Meeting for Year of The Woman's Club
The Woman's Club held its final meeting at the home of Mr and Mrs John G Rorick. Reports were heard from retiring officers and new officers for the coming year were inducted. A pot luck supper followed for members and guests with Miss Emily Bouton of Toledo unable to attend due to illness. The club, active in war work, will resume meetings in September with Mrs F B Kenyon as president.
