On Wednesday evening October 6th Thomas W. Tipton of Guernsey county will address the Chippewa Club at the Court House. Tipton is said to be superior to Mr. Gibson, which may entice attendance. He spoke in Rome Seneca county recently where twenty Democrats declared their intention to vote for Scott. All are invited including ladies. avoid an outpouring of Scott sentiment.
A gathering will be held at the School Houses near J Levisoe's in Townsend township on Saturday October Mth at Lotelock. A pole will be raised and speeches will be made by R P Buckland Eng and others. Full attendance is urged.
A Scott meeting will be held at the School House near Mr J Dawson in Ballville Special on Thursday evening October 7. Speakers will be present to address the meeting. Let everybody attend.
