Early 19th Century Notes on Horses and War History
Fragments cover horse taming methods using horse castor and oil of cumin, with steps to approach and calm a horse, then shift to a long historical narrative on Potitian and Ottawa chiefs, Detroit surrender, and Gen. Harrison’s campaigns including Fort Meigs and the Battle of the Thames. The text also mentions a Paris correspondent on M. de Salvandy, race-related incidents in Norfolk, and weather-tornado impacts in Pana Illinois.
