Disorder in Post Office Letters Sparks Treasury Blame

A Sacramento Weekly Union excerpt explains mail misdirection and unclaimed letters burdening the Treasury. It notes over 60 percent of addressed mail is returned or misrouted, with many valuables enclosed and drafts or notes left unpaid. The piece also reports births notices and local school director elections, plus a discourse on human figure proportions and forthcoming church and public events.
