In a Fremont Journal report from April 1861, Lieut George M Tillomon was elected Captain with Charles M Fouke as 1st Lieutenant and C J Conger as 2nd Lieutenant. Doct J S Rice received the vote for Baroon of the Regiment. An Executive Union Committee appointed Charles O Pitlothon to aid volunteers countywide until muster.
