From Nashville report comes word that the Legislature secretly passed an Ordinance of Secession on Thursday. It will be submitted to voters but measures are urged to drive the State into disunion before the ballot. A recruit at a local office wrote on the roll, saying he seeks freedom, spending money for liberty and joining volunteers.
