A call urging citizens to continue labor for the country in the campaign. Attend meetings and persuade neighbors to participate. Circulate documents and place them in the hands of the doubtful and honest at risk of being misled. Remain vigilant and spend time and money. God will crown efforts with success.
The Bulletin states support for Mr. Washburne’s vote to lay on the table Dawson’s Preamble and Resolutions on the Conduct of the War. It declares it safe to endorse Washburne or any other man in votes against such war conduct propositions, warning that loyal men voting with Dawson might seem in the wrong boat, noting Pendleton’s alignment with Dawson and Washburne’s contrast.
