Emma Diemer wife of Lewis Ward died November 2 1881 at Austin Cook County Illinois of consumption aged 39 years 28 days. She lived many years in Stephenson County and is buried Cedarville her early home. She left five children and was a member of Fulton Street Methodist Church Chicago. Her husband a longtime compositor at the Journal Office receives deep sympathy. Freeport Market Journal Office Freeport Illinois November 29 1881.
