Fire destroys mills in Minneapolis four mills burned
Early Sunday fire swept the milling district of Minneapolis destroying four flouring mills and one cotton mill. An explosion in the Minneapolis mill, likely from flour dust, killed four men and seriously wounded several others. Debris removal is needed to determine additional fatalities. Miss Sarah Miller Dies After Pulmonary Decline
Miss Sarah E. Miller daughter of John Miller and sister of B F Miller died at the German Insurance Company office from consumption after years of pulmonary trouble. She served her family faithfully after her mother’s death, was a Salem Church member, and chose funeral hymns sung at Salem Church. Burial was in the Lancaster schoolhouse cemetery beside her mother. She was twenty four years ten months and sixteen days old.
