The Whigs of Stephenson County will convene at the Court House in Freeport on Monday August 30 at 12 o clock to nominate county officers and to select six delegates for the Congressional Convention in Rockford on September 1. Town committees are urged to call meetings on August 21 to appoint town delegates. Dated Freeport August 6 1852.
