William Wilkie, 30, died after a boxing match in his home basement at 1329 North Francisco Street. His opponent Charles Chilins, 19, delivered a crushing blow, Wilkie collapsed at the door and died at home despite a physician's efforts. J L Hoover was arrested in Pana Illinois on a charge of forging a check for 487.2 dollars drawn on Noah H Large.
