Jury for Luetgert case discharged after deadlock
The Luetgert murder jury failed to reach a verdict after an 88 hour deadlock. Nine verdicts for conviction and three for acquittal left no chance of agreement, and Judge Tuthill discharged the panel and remanded Luetgert to jail for a new trial. Luetgert’s lawyers plan to seek bail tomorrow.
