Paris November 29 Spain agreed to cede Cuba Porto Rico Guam and the Philippines to the United States for 20 000 000 and to end hostilities. Spanish and American peace commissions met briefly as Senor Rios appeared grave and tired during the final relinquishment talks. Articles to formalize the cession were to be drafted for submission the next day.
