Burglars Loot Golden Eagle Store For 500 Dollars
Professional burglars entered the Golden Eagle clothing store between 6 last evening and 6 this morning and carried away 500 dollars worth of goods. The haul included 400 dollars of kid gloves 46 dollars in silk handkerchiefs 500 cuff buttons 45 dollars and 12.50 in cash. Entry was via skeleton key and the robbers locked the door behind them. Police have no suspects and believe Chicago fences may move the goods. Chief Sweeney says similar crimes occurred at Clinton and Beloit.
