W. C. T. U. Elects Maine Woman President at St Paul

At the St Paul convention on November 16 Mrs. Stevens of Maine was elected president succeeding Miss Willard. Mrs. Fry became corresponding secretary and Mrs. Hoffman recording secretary. A heated Temple bonds debate ended with a defeat of a resolution pledging retirement of the Temple trust bonds by a vote of 75 to 267.
